The Golden Bay Tinbum event is run by a team of volunteers. The safety of competitors, spectators, marshals and all involved in and around the event are paramount.
A detailed health and safety plan is in place including a traffic management plan.
The organisers endeavour to minimise hazards on the course, but all involved must recognise and take responsibility for their own safety. Each competitor takes responsibility for their ability to navigate the course and the suitability of footwear, cycles, helmets etc.
